He graduated from the Waikato Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Media Arts (Communication) and a National Diploma in Journalism in 2009, and has written for the North Waikato News, Hamilton Press, and Taupo Times. He was a contributing writer for the Fieldays Exhibitor magazine, Research Register Publication, and the 1908-2008: Waikato Hockey Centenary book. He also writes for Tearaway magazine and NZBlokes.co.nz.
